SUNDAY 13th MAY 2018

"A proper race!"

For youngsters 16 years old and under

One mile races for children aged 16 and under in a safe, off-road environment and run in age groups beginning with U5 years.

Sheldon & Hardenhuish School Field, Chippenham, Wiltshire, SN14 6HJ

"I always love running... it is something you can do by yourself and under your own power. You can go in any direction, fast or slow as you want, fighting the wind if you feel like it, seeking out new sights just on the strength of your feet and the courage of your lungs."

- Jesse Owens, US Olympic Athlete

Everyone's participation, whether running, watching or supporting is very, very much appreciated.

Pre-registration closes 6 May 2018

What is it?

It’s the only race in the country solely dedicated to children aged 16 and under in a safe, off-road environment run in age groups. There is no adult race in, on or around the May Mile!

Without the May Mile™, a lot of children would not necessarily be exposed to competitive running and could miss out on an athletic future.
